The Lives They Lived combines drawings that were made over the past two years (2024-2026). These rooms, as scenes, trace nostalgia, memories, and previous lives to form a household where a longing for a past that never existed still lingers.

In this realm, half-fantasy and half-memory, imagination bring these spaces back to life.
Even the mushrooms act as a presence, a death that flourishes in the rot, starting the cycle anew. Together, they create the home I still long for.
